Shipping Information

Postage, packing & returns.

In Orkney we know the value of adequate packing and appropriate shipping services.  To ensure our products arrive with you in the best condition we use purpose-made packaging and, for all UK deliveries, recommend our guaranteed 24 hour service. 

Please note that in some cases orders may be shipped in more than one part, we will notify you by email if this is the case.

Our quoted postage rates are for the UK only and will be charged at cost if you are ordering from abroad.

If you select UK first or second class mail or Parcelforce we cannot guarantee delivery times or replace damaged or perished items and  we strongly recommend our guaranteed 24 hour service.  If you select this option your package is traceable all the way and you can always contact us by email if you are concerned.  Our experience is that the small extra cost of this service is a small price to pay for peace of mind because in the extremely unlikely event that your package goes missing it will be replaced.  Also, using this service, if your order arrives but in poor condition, return it to us and we will replace it. IMPORTANT: our 24 hour delivery service means 24 hours from leaving us to arriving with you.  NOT 24 hours from the point of ordering.  Orders normally take 2-5 days to process and ship but we will do our best to honour any special requests for urgent shipping for gifts etc.

Ordering from outside the UK

All our goods are available in the UK and we are happy to ship goods to anywhere in the world, provided the country in question will allow it and, of course, provided perishable products are not involved.  Many countries, including the USA, are very difficult to ship foodstuffs of any kind to but we will happily supply any goods that are allowed.  Our policy is to help if we can so if you live outside the UK please feel free to email us with questions and we will do our best to find a way.
